ICE MEMORIES

Ice Memories is a project in the context of climate change and global warming that bridges the gap between art and science.
Photographs visualize the atmosphere of past millennia embedded in the global ice masses of our planet to create awareness of their importance.
These ice masses are a time capsule for us humans as they enable us to look back in time.

Collective Memory

Collective Memory is a documentary about climate change and global warming.
It visualises the atmosphere of past millennia embedded in the global ice masses of our planet, which is a key element for us humas as it enables us to look back in time.
It documents the work of ice core scientists extracting this information and decoding the frozen records of our past.

Coming in 2025.

The Phenomenon Of Memory

In a world of constant change and transience, we all want to hold on to life‘s extraordinary moments forever. Preserving a fleeting instant of time, making it eternal – to guide us, to remind us. Photographs represent truth through their ability to capture memories in all their details that we create on our journey. Memories of people and places, and emotionally significant moments or experiences in our lives. But photographs also trigger us and take us back, bringing up what we once lived. In the flux of time, they are persistence.
